stay tuned- I am hoping for some good news soon

I know I have been hinting around for a while about news I am waiting for on the Job front, My close girlfriends know what is up, but I don't want to jinx it so I will just tell you to keep an eye out here and I will post the news as soon as it comes through.

The job with Measured Progress is coming to an end. We work tomorrow and then we are done for the rest of the summer. - my hope is for the other job to pan out soon too. Math has been fun to score and a different challenge than the writing and reading I have done in the past. It is more concrete and the rubrics are easier to qualify for I think. I don't have much in the way of " formal college level math" basic, and later statistics ( though there is lots of algebra used) , but my practical work experiences have helped me retain my math skills too. So it is interesting, to see how I do.

I am wiped out though as far as the computer goes, cause all the scoring is done on the computer and my eyes and brain are fried tonight so not much more to say here. except stay tuned.

watch out world

new driver's are behind the wheel. but this my friends is our one dollar subaru and so I think it will be just fine. its a little banged up and it leaks oil but life with wheels is sometimes better than without. We went to a nearby church with a large parking lot to practice. It really is fun to teach them to manual shift and learn about all the things you need to do to drive. So off to get a permit too soon.

a meme from Scott- life is grand

Meme from Scott at Life is Grand, BTW I GOT MY MUSIC CD TODAY_ CAN"T WAIT TO PLAY IT IN THE MOM VAN!! It is great I like it all.

God doesn't care - if you are a man or a woman, you are unique and made special, with purpose on this earth. Have faith that he has perfect timing and is already there ! " for I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, " plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11

I adore chocolate, The good kind, smooth European, sweet, milk, white, dark.

They always say what comes around goes around, do you believe in Karma?

Yeah, it's true my life hasn't been easy, but I am blessed with wonderful children, outstanding husband, great friends and lots of material things.

At one point I wasn't sure I would be in another loving relationship and marriage, but here I am and I can say it is good. Life threw me lemons and I had to make lemonade.

Why should I care about the planet? I think because I will be leaving it to a future generation, and I would like it to continue in peace and whole as we can help it be.

Real men cry once in a while. I am glad my dearest gets that way, and even my son and Step sons are not buying into the myth of macho.

I always return to art as a way to express myself. I enjoy the creative process and take satisfaction in creating scrapbooks, cards and altered art. I enjoy painting and sewing creatively too.

The music I love has great an meaningful lyrics, powerful messages for my soul. Explores emotions and tells of real life and little things that make the world a better place.

I've never really had childhood friends, my friends have come after I settled down, being an Army Brat, we moved and were temporarily at a few places, and I continued that until I married and moved to Denver. now though I have a few girlfriends and I am thankful for them in my life.

Someone told me money doesn't buy happiness- but it damn sure makes the way alot easier. hard to believe I have been out of work since November. It will be nice when I get a salary back again.

I can sit and pretend that my feelings don't get hurt, and I am a jovial happy fat chick. Sometimes that is not the case and I have feelings too.

The funny thing is I didn't really know how my life would turn out. So far it has been a great time, sure there are things I learned along the way but I don't know that I would trade one minute of it. I certainly don't regret any of it.

What happened today?

Colorology , colorstrology and Measured Progress are causing a hit parade on my Blog!

over the last two and a half years my bloging about this topic ( colorology and Colorstrology- see tags for other entries on my blog and links from past posts) has caused hits, but now today I had about 25 hits? what is up with that, most are search engine driven, and I am not sure why there is such and interest in this topic?@! no one leaves me any clue as to why they are so interested in this topic. They certainly do't leave a comment while here.

the other Topic is Measured Progress and that is on a " hit list" search engine from some one in Dover, Mass. ( this is where the parent company is) I hope I post up good PR for them, as this is a job I have enjoyed doing. The hiring is done locally here by Kelly Service Temps. It seems this has been a good sideline for me to pass the time at while still looking for more permanent work. I have been scoring Math for the last couple of days now. I had only done reading before, so the challenge is new and interesting. Seems I haven't totally forgotten geometry and percentages off LOL : ) For the most part I like the people I am with there, it is an interesting mix of newly graduated students, old hippies, trust fund babies, retired and working teachers and principles and administrators with a smattering of nerdy guys thrown in the mix, quite a diverse intelectual community. Most are required to have a college degree so it makes the talk around the tables at lunch at least stimulating.

well thanks for all the visits anyone looking for information on these two hit list topics

this and that

well I am still waiting on "the Job" will post up when it is the real deal. in the mean time, work has included helping a friend and today back to measured progress in Longmont ( kelly temp) I like this job reading tests and sometimes think it would be fun to just do this on a part time basis, but i really miss my cleaning ladies, i haven't had since november.

J and I are working on/in group thearapy we are building a bit of trust, but it is hard work. I bought parenting teens with love and logic, by Foster Cline and Charles Fay. I am about 1/2 way through it great book, hard to make these changes so late in his life. But I keep tring to be positive and hopeful. We have aranged for him to go to a non-traditional school, starting in july the program is self paced and he culd move along and get done if he really wants to apply himself to working at his own sucess, the principle seemed really like a great guy and I have high hopes for a turn around in J's future.

Hh is still enjoying her Karate and going with S to work occasionally, She is off to camp Gramdma later in the summer and I think is looking forward to her time with grandpa as he always entertains her and takes her to lunches out, as well as Grandma doing a little shopping.

SSD1 is working at a CiCi's pizza nearby and seems to enjoy his time learning the pizza trade. It is hard to belive he has one more year and he will be a HS grad.

we have SSD2 everyfew weeks this summer for a week at a time, we had him all last week and had lots of success and comunication, when he is with us he does lots of good stuff.

well I am off to bed since i have to get up and drive myself to longmont in the am. Chiao

the color orange not purple

You Need Some Orange in Your Life
Orange will make you feel open, lively, and artistic. And with a little orange, you will project an aura of friendliness. If you want bolder experiences, you've got to get a little orange in your life!
For extra punch: Combine orange with red or yellow
The downside of orange: It's too powerful and unusual for some people to deal with
The consequences of more orange in your life:
You will become more creative in almost every aspect of your lifeYou will find humor in the most serious and dismal situationsYou will feel like life is exciting, even when you're doing ordinary things
What Color Do You Need?
I love these color things, and the colorstrology by pantone, is still my number one search hit on this blog. I find it intriguing and fun to see the colors in life. And here is the pantone universe site also full of color and life.

meez- from Mac daddy by way of Jason

if you've got a little time to kill...head on over to Meez.com'>Meez (hopefully the link works if not just google Meez) and create you one.

Do Jason a favor...if you create one for your blog (or whatever you choose to do with your's) and you fill out your registration (it's all free) put in Jason's username (casperja) so he'll get the credit for it. I think you get something called Coinz when other people sign up. Not totally sure what you do with them although I did see a few articles of clothing and accessories that costs a few "Coinz". So since he turned me onto it, we'll give him the Coinz!

Oh...another tip from Jason...before you download it you need to size your Meez down to "Bodysize 175x233". That makes it fit nicely in your little blog sidebar.

that is the electric slide I am doing , it was fun to make a little person.
